Abstract(in English) We examined the applying of real-time orbit determination method to time dissemination service via geo-stationary satellite. Actually, the geostationary satellite based time dissemination service have been researched in many countries. Also, the trilateration measuring and differential correction technique are generalized. In this paper, we are going to introduce about the time dissemination technique research in KARI. We are developing the time dissemination experiment software, and the real-time orbit determination method was adopted. We expect that the real-time orbit determination method can reduce the predicted satellite position error, which is the one of the main error reason. And we use the time dissemination signal itself as the range data. So, the additional measurements like antenna angle or phase shift of ranging tone are not need, which were measured only by the ground station of each satellite. In this paper, we will introduce the simulated output of real-time orbit determination and the concept of time dissemination service technique in KARI. The developing method will be tested via KOREASAT-2 on April, 2004.
