Optical-Frequency-Interleaved DWDM Transmission of Millimeter-Wave-Band SCM Radio-on-Fiber Signals

Abstract(in English) In this report, optical-frequency-interleaved dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) transmission of mm-wave-band subcarrier-multiplexed (SCM) radio-on-fiber (ROF) signals is investigated and experimentally demonstrated. In the experiment, 2-channel-DWDM / 2-channel-SCM ROF signal is transmitted over 25-km-long standard single-mode optical fiber (SMF) and demultiplexed. The multiplexed signal consists of independent four 60-GHz-band 155.52-Mb/s-DPSK ROF signals. To our knowledge, it will be the first experimental demonstration of multi-channel fiber-optic transmission simultaneously with both interleaved DWDM and SCM techniques.
