Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The outhors have been studying for the realization of studio-use wireless television cameras which transmit full rate HDTV signals at millimeter-waves. In order to design such a system we needed comprehensive channel characteristics at those frequencies. Hence we conducted channel sounding at 42GHz- and 55GHz-bands on a relatively small, simple structure studio (i.e., all lighting equipments were raised to the highest level, all items of technical equipment and scenery were removed.) Consequently, quantitative channel characteristics were obtained at several antenna configurations.
