Abstract(in English) | In case of aircraft accident, the Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) on the aircraft automatically transmits distress signals via a satellite to a search and rescue station. This paper described that outline of Search and Rescue (SAR) system using the satellite, the 406 MHz ELT's performance and the example of link budget for the ELT using a geo-stationary satellite that improves of the survival rate. |
