Downlink transmission Control for Asymmetric Communications in CDMA/Shared-TDD cellular packet communications

Abstract(in English) The Shared-TDD scheme has been proposed for accommodation of asymmetric communications between uplink and downlink. The application of Shared-TDD scheme to cellular systems causes inter-link interference. This paper proposes downlink packet transmission control in order to relieve effect of the interlink interference in CDMA/Shared-TDD cellular packet systems. In the proposed scheme, base stations select transmission slots for downlink packets based on the location of mobile stations. Computer simulations show that the proposed schame relieves effect of the inter-link interference, and thus improves downlink transmission efficiency.
