Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The adding virtual waves method using the eigenvalues of the covariance matrix for signal with additive virtual waves has been known. The method is useful for finding direction of arrival under multipass environment in which the coherent waves exist. The useful point of the method is that it is possible to estimate the direction angle regardless of array antenna arragement. However, the sufficient resolution does not be realized for the low SNR condition. This paper proposes the adding virtual waves method using eigenvectors to improve the resolution even for the low SNR cases. The orthogonality beteween the eigenvectors and signal subspace is checked. The results of our proposed method comparing with the results obtained by the conventional method show the validity of our approach.
