Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed an indoor visible-light communication system using white LEDs that attract attention as a light source for indoor lightning in the 21st century, and it has been studied. However this proposed system is not discussed about the uplink. This uplink problem is serious for bidirectional communication system. In this paper, we propose the uplink system for visible-light communication using corner cube modulator. The modulator consists of corner cube reflector and optical shutter. And the reflected visible-light by corner cube reflector is used as communication media for the uplink. The high power from tin white LED lights is used in the uplink system. So high-speed communication is expectable like the downlink.
