| Abstract(in English) | DVB-RCS Standard based technology, which is newly being risen as an alternative of satellite communication will seem to replace previous Bi-directional satellite communication technology, which has been implemented by companies, governments, units. So, in this article, the contents of DVB-RCS standard and the advantages DVB-RCS standard based technology will be mentioned and introduced briefly. And also, satellite communication related industry and market trends will be introduced. In addition, Pentamedia's 2-Way satellite communication system implementation, which is based on DVB-RCS standard, commercialization and the advantageous points of those systems will be introduced. Finally, applicable areas will be introduced and such introduction will show How to apply DVB-RCS based systems into real industry, real world and real application areas. Applicable areas, which will be introduced in this article, are chosen on the basis of trends, which are being discussed in all over world and on the basis of the proposals, which are from customers. And these satellite applicable areas consist of a few parts; one is the normal area such as internet, distance education and satellite digital broadcasting area. The other is specialized area such as remote monitoring systems, which are for forest fire, water control and weather forecast. |
