Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When carrying out mobile reception of the OFDM signal, the performance of the receiver is much degraded by the Doppler shift phenomenon because the frequency difference between the adjacent sub-carriers in OFDM is small. Since the omni-antenna Then, in this paper, we propose a Doppler shift compernsation system using an antenna with non-uniform sectors to receiver the signal through multi-path antenna. The received signal at a mobile antenna has a wide Doppler frequency shift range. The sector antenna divides the whore range into several narrow ones. The non-uniform sectors of the antenna can make these range equal. The compensation system easily combines these equal ranges. Computer simulations show that our proposed system has better performance than a uniform sector antenna compensation system.
