Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A study has been made on frequency hopping spread spectrum subscriber loop transmission system. In our previous proposal which uses Parallel FH/M-ary Multilevel FSK system as a DSL system very high gain amplifier such as 127dB gain is needed to achieve high transmission rate because of its low spectral efficiency. In the novel proposed system a level is represented by a combination of frequency tones as a result considerable improvement in spectral efficiency has been achieved, which in turn result in achieving high transmission rate with moderate amplifier gain. In this paper results of study on relations between obtainable transmission rate versus line length, transmission power when proposed system is applied to a subscriber loop are presented.
