Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an adaptive encoder selection scheme using convolutional encoders. The adaptive encoder selection method has been discussed to obtain the quality of service (QoS) for software radio systems. The component encoders, each of which has a different error correction capability are used according to an importance of information in adaptive encoder selection systems. The receiver selects a component decoder corresponding to a component encoder used in the transmitter without redundant information. The likelihood value which derived by MAP decoding is employed for selection of component decoder. We show a decoder selection error performance of propose scheme.
