Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, for powder phosphers of ful color field emission display (FED), We are trying to synthesize phosphers of sub micron and high luminescence. Fine-particle Y_2O_2S:Eu red phosphor was synthesized by adding sodium sulfate as a sulfurizing agent to yttrium (europium) oxide precursor obtained from mixture of citric acid, yttrium nitride and europium chloride. Then, the amount of addition of a sulfuration agent was changed and the luminescence characteristic was investigated. Synthesized phosphors were analyzed using X-ray diffraction and scanning electronmicroscopy to interpret the observed luminescent properties. When the amount of addition was made to increase from the obtained result, the tendency for the luminescence characteristic to improve was seen.
