Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High-power vacuum electronics devices are key components in large scientific installations like particle accelerators and thermonuclear fusion, and in space and defense applications. Especially, Inductive Output Tubes (IOT) and Traveling Wave Tubes (TWT) with high linearity and high efficiency have been developed for the recent digital broadcasting and communications. IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) started the International Vacuum Electronics Conference (IVEC) in 2000 to focus the research output of the vacuum electronics community. Recent R&D trends are presented based on the previous four conferences.
