Abstract(in English) SrS:Cu films for blue EL elements were prepared by a hotwall epitaxy. The Cu emission center was used to improve the blue chromaticity. Quartz glass and mice are used as a substrate material.An optimum deposition condition was invertigated varying annealing temperatune and substrate temperature. The crystal properties were dastically improved by increasing the annealing temperature.
