Abstract(in English) | Monolithic laser diodes with a 160mW DVD-recording laser for 8 × writing speed and a 200mW CD-recording laser for 48 × writing speed has been developed as a light source of next-generation optical recording systems. The optical output power at 75℃ was enhanced up to 200mW by heightening the kink-level which is attributed to reducing the leakage current parallel to a junction plane. |
