Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a signal interpolated phase timing recovery system. This system is a digital sampling method that the signal reproduced from Magneto-Optical disk drive is sampled with sampling clock. It detects the best sampling phase and interpolates the sampled signal with best phase. We evaluated the performance of phase error detection and bit error rate in computer simulation under the condition that the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is to achieve a bit error rate of 10^<-4> using turbo decoding. In conclusion, we confirmed that this system could detect the phase error in ±6% and adjust the sampled data in all case of initial phase error.
