Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Strontium aluminate : Eu, Dy phosphors exhibit highly bright and long-lasting phosphorescence without radioactive materials. It is necessary to control the orientation of crystallites and microstructure in the films in order to use them as many applications. In this study, control of crystallinity and crystal orientation of strontium aluminate thin films were attempted by post-annealing in air of the films deposited with reactive sputtering method. The film annealed at about 1000 ℃ had smooth surface, excellent (010) orientation, and good crystallinity. In the central part of the firm annealed at about 1000 ℃, a green luminescence which has a cause in Eu^<2+> was observed. On the other hands, a red luminescence which has a cause in Eu^<3+> was observed in the edge portion of the film. The films without annealed at 1000 ℃ were a red luminescence.
