Abstract(in English) | This paper presents a design methodology for the "Advanced Community Space", which shows a way to build a community database. The Advanced Community Space is a kind of cyber-community with virtual space, and also has the ability to share, update and inquire not only spatial objects, but also the, knowledge, e.g. meanings and intension in the community. In order to realize that, different types of information sharing methods, i.e. 1, sharing method of the characteristic knowledge by using ontology, and 2, sharing method of 3-dimensional object data, are required. For that purpose, this paper shows the global schema, which has 3 layers---knowledge, conceptual existence and physical data. By the schema, inquiries, updating and declarative operations are realizable. |
