Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is necessary to investigate the characteristics of the acoustic wave propagation in these media, to explore surficial marine sediments such as Hedoro acoustically. In this study, the characteristics of the acoustic wave propagation in high porosity marine sediments such as Hedoro are analyzed using the Biot-Stoll model. Next, the longitudinal wave velocities and attenuation in two kinds of sediment models are measured. The measured results and the calculated results using the Biot-Stoll model are compared and investigated.
