Abstract(in English) | Vibration characteristics of a large capacity ultrasonic complex vibration sources using a longitudinal (27 kHz) and transverse vibration disk (40 kHz) and titanium alloy and stainless steel complex transverse vibration rods are studied. Using the complex vibration ultrasonic welding system, various thick metal plates can be welded continuously at multiple positions with larger and more uniform welded area than those welded using a conventional system using linear vibration. The complex vibration source of 27 kHz and 40 kHz consists of aluminum alloy, titanium alloy and stainless steel complex transverse vibration rods that have stepped parts for vibration velocity transformation, a aluminum alloy longitudinal circular disk part (27 kHz, 220 mm in diameter) or transverse vibration disk (40 kHz, 195 mm in diameter) and six or two BLT longitudinal vibration transducers. The complex vibration sources are driven using three or two transformers, three or two 500 W static induction transistor power amplifiers. Circular vibration loci were obtained at the end of stepped transverse vibration rod of 27 kHz and 40 kHz complex vibration sources. |
