Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a novel method of blind signal separation (BSS), which is a method for recovering a set of source signals from their mixtures without any knowledge about the mixing process. Usually, BSS requires observed signals of the same number as source signals, so that we must take the delay time between receivers into consideration. However, our technique utilizing the spatio-temporal gradient method requires only an observed signal in the case of separating the mixture of two source signals. Mixing signals are simplified by the method and are separated by a rotational transformation based on the criterion with Hermite moment.
