Abstract(in English) | If we apply a general traveling wave type ultrasonic motor(USM) to present to a robot manipulator, torque insufficiency is supposed. Therefore, this paper proposes a torque improvement of USM. As preliminary experiment, we experimented the motor connected with two usual USM by a shaft and considered to the torque and characteristics of a revolution. From this result, it is confirmed that the torque and speed control of the twin type USM can do as well as one motor. Then, we make a pilot unit of the twin Stator type USM which is composed of one rotor and two stators. This time, we improved that mechanism of twin stator type USM. Therefore, we propose a method to realize a torque rise of USM by improve a driver circuit. |
