Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Basic experiments for high-speed underwater acoustic data communication was carried out at real sea as time variant multi-path channel. The demodulation was processed by the multi-channel DFE (Decision Feed-back Equalizer) demodulator with adaptive filtering. Good results were obtained at sea trial on near bottom horizontal directional transmission. The demodulation method is 16-QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation), and transmitting rate is 32 kbps (bandwidth : 8 kHz).
