Development of SAW touch screen

Abstract(in English) We developed a touch screen of 98% transmittance on a single glass substrate based on SAW technology. A thin piezoelectric film transducer with newly designed chevron electrode, which emits SAW diagonally, realizes small frame size and high pointing resolution of over 100 dpi. The fabricated touch screen shows a good character input performance with new developed control circuit.
