Three Dimensional Image Analysis for Breast Cancer Screening using Ultrasonic Imaging Techniques

Abstract(in English) We are developing a novel three dimensional image analysis system for breast cancer screening. This system is possible to construct three dimensional tumor structures from ultrasonic images by using fuzzy based automated tumor extraction. We use several properties of LoG filter and DoG filter for producing the membership function. We conducted the feasibility study of the system using clinical data. As a result, the successfulness ratio of the tumor extraction is 80 percent.
