Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have established methods of analytical calculation of the quantization noise transfer function and an effective number of bits of a superconducting single-loop sigma-delta modulator. A differential equation describing average voltage balances across a superconducting inductor is converted to a difference equation and the quantization noise transfer function is calculated by taking z-transform. Quantum mechanical feedback given by a quantizer Josephson junction can be described analytically by defining an average voltage of SFQ bit stream.
