Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 6-pole microstrip hairpin-type band-pass filters operated at 8.25 GHz have been designed and fabricated. YRCO superconducting thin films were deposited on both side of a LaAlO_3 single crystal substrate by pulsed laser deposition. The films were all c-axis oriented with superconducting transition temperature higher than 89 K. On the one side of the films the designed pattern was transferred by photolithography and wet etch methods. The other side of superconducting YBCO proved to be very efficient in serving as the ground plane. Preliminary measurements showed that the current process is viable to reproduce the simulated hand-pass characteristics extremely well. Except for a slight broadening in high frequency end, an insertion loss of 0.5 dB has been demonstrated. Details of the device characteristics will be described and discussed.
