Abstract(in English) A front-end circuit of analog-to-digital converter (ADC) consisting of a modulator, a demultiplexer (DEMUX) and amplifiers is designed and fabricated based on superconducting single flux quantum (SFQ) circuitry. In designing of the circuit, the length of transmission lines was determined so that a data signal arrives at the proper timing between clock signals even if the circuit parameters change. An on-chip-testing circuit was also designed to confirm the operation at 40 GHz. These circuits consisting of 2518 Josephson junctions were fabricated using NEC standard Nb process. Correct analog-to-digital conversion could be confirmed by comparing the readout 32-SFQ output signals to the level of dc input currents.
