Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new class of ternary sequence with zero-correlation zone is introduced. The proposed sequence sets have a zero-correlation zone for both periodic and aperiodic correlation functions. The zero-correlation zone for the auto-correlation function of the proposed sequences is almost twice wide than the zero-correlation zone for the cross-correlation function of the proposed sequences. The proposed sequences can be constructed from a set of length-n Hadamard sequences. The constructed sequence set consists of 16n ternary sequences, and the length of each sequence is 2^<(m+3)>(n+2) for non-negative integer m. The zero-cross-correlation zone of the proposed sequences is |τ|≦2^-1, and the zero-auto-correlation zone of the proposed sequences is |τ|≦2-1, where τ is the phase shift. The proposed sequence set has 16n members and the theoretical upper bound of the number of the members is equal to 16(n+2).
