Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a novel multiple access technique utilizing nonlinear swept chirp waveforms. In a conventional system, a combination of linear swept chirp waveforms allows multiple access communication. However, in an asynchronous channel, the cross-correlation between user signals deteriorates and causes multiple access interference. In this paper, some nonlinear sweep functions are examined and an optimum combination of the function parameters is presented as well. Simulation results show that the BER performance is improved compared to conventional systems.
