Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In case that the synchronization error is more than one pulse width because of the change of the distance between transmitter and receiver, the conventional synchronization method using DLL makes a demodulation impossible in UWB Impulse Radio Communications. Therefore, we propose an orthogonal sequence that can detect a synchronous error in this paper. Moreover, assuming M-ary TH system, multiple Matched Filters (MF) are used at receiver. A synchronous error is detectable by giving certain feature to output characteristic of each MF using the proposed sequences when a synchronous error occurs. The computer simulations show that proposed method is superior to the conventional one when a synchronization error occurs.
