Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The site-diversity can be applied to multicarrier-CDMA (MC-CDMA) to improve the bit error rate (BER) performance for a user with weak signal power, resulting in the increased link capacity. In this paper, downlink capacity under shadowing environment is considered when base stations involved in site-diversity operation are determined based on average received power. The impacts of path loss exponent and standard deviation of shadowing loss on the site diversity effect are evaluated by computer simulation.
