Abstract(in English) | In multi carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA), since signals transmitted from different users go through different frequency-selective fading channels, the use of frequency-domain equalization at a receiver can only partially restore the orthogonality property among different users' signals, resulting in the degraded bit error ratio (BER) performance due to large multi-access interference (MAI). Hence, transmit frequency-domain equalization that pre-equalizes the transmit signal spectrum is recently attracting attention. In this paper, we propose a generalized transmit frequency-domain equalization suitable for MC-CDMA/TDD uplink. The transmit equalization weights are obtained based on the Lagrange multipliers method. The BER performance using the proposed transmit equalization in a frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel is evaluated by computer simulation. |
