A study on high-efficiency Error control scheme for mobile data communications

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes the improved scheme of Adaptive Hybrid ARQ which corrects information error with adaptive increase of correction ability by using difference between syndrome data of transmitted signal and that of received signal. Proposed scheme uses Type I-Hybrid-ARQ instead of ARQ in conventional system as syndrome transmit system and uses Maximum Likelihood Decoding as syndrome error correction. Also proposed scheme uses soft decision decoding as information error correction. As a result, it is shown that Improved Adaptive Hybrid ARQ can improve throughput characteristic in comparison with the conventional Adaptive Hybrid ARQ, therefore can be considered as the combination of the good points of each Hybrid ARQ and improve frame error characteristic in comparison with the conventional scheme with algebra decoding.
