| 抄録(和) | 情報通信技術情報の進歩に伴ない日常生活の情報・コミュニケーション環境が大きく変わりつつある. 新しい情報通信サービスは、多くの人達の生活を豊かにする要因として機能している. しかし、一方では、これらのサービスの対象外となってしまう人達もいる. ディジタルデバイドは、情報通信サービスヘのアクセスができる人達とそうでない人達との格差を指摘したものである. 本文では、情報通信技術を用いて、障害がある人たちも含めてできるだけ多くの人達が使用できるようなコミュニケーションサービスを実現・提供できるようにするために考えるべき課題を、技術の展開という側面と、サービスを利用する人の側面の2つの次元から、核となる情報通信技術を用いたシステムの開発・設計と、サービス・システムと利用者とのインタフェース、サービス・システムの運用を支える社会的な要因の3つについて検討する. |
| 抄録(英) | This report addresses conceptual issues for designing information/communication aids for people with disabilities including elderly people. ICT (Information Communication Technology) provides various information/communication devices and services for improving the quality of daily life. This, however, causes another problem called digital divide that creates the gap between those who have access to ICT and those who do not. In the first part of the paper, we explain certain aspects of information/communication aids design from both viewpoints of technology, and human users, and society. We show some important issues for making developed devices/services actually usable and effective for users and furthermore other members in a society. Through the discussions, we show that human user and social factors are important in designing information/communication aids and services. The actually effective information/communication aids are developed by the combination of ICT and other design factors such as user and social needs/requirements: we need technological and social consideration. |
