| 抄録(和) | 近年地域社会の諸問題に取り組むNPOが注目を集めている.NPOの活動を活発化させ,地域社会の担い手として成長していくためには,NPO同士の交流が必要であり,交流を進めるための一つの手段としてNPOのIT活用が考えられている.それはITの持つ時間的・空間的効率性によって,NPOが持つ課題の解決策をNPO相互の情報交換で発見・解決し,さらにお互いのメリットを活かして連携ができるからである.しかし現在のところ,情報化がうまく進んでいないといわれている.そこでNPOの情報化(IT活用)を進めるため,NPOの情報化の現状を調査し,そこから仮説をたて検証実験を行った.検証の結果,情報化を進めていくことにNPO自体に抵抗感はなく,機会があれば積極的にITに関する知識を身につけていこうという意欲が見られた.しかし,普段からの継続的な利用がないために,ITの効果が今ひとつつかみきれておらず,情報機器の使用やホームページなどを利用した情報発信を行うことはできるが,真の情報化といえる「情報交流」には至っていない. |
| 抄録(英) | In recent years, non-government organizations (NGOs), which tackles many problems of a community, have attracted a lot of attention. To become more active and to grow up and shoulder the future destiny of communities, NGOs need to cooperate with each other. Information technology (IT) is regarded as being an effective method of achieve NGO cooperation because messages can be sent immediately to many people far away at any time. So the solution to the problems of NGOs can be solved by information exchange among NGOs, and NGOs can cooperate with each other using their advantages. But currently NGOs hardly communicate with each other using IT. So we examined the conditions required for advancing communication using IT among NGOs. Based on the results, we formed a hypothesis and verified it. The evidence shows that NGOs are not resistant to communication using IT and are willing to learn IT-skills, if there is an opportunity. However, because they lack experience using IT, NGOs do not understand the benefits of communication using IT. Although some NGOs operate IT equipment and have websites for disseminating informations , this has not led to moving on to the stage of communication using IT. |
