Abstract(in English) | In recent years, non-government organizations (NGOs), which tackles many problems of a community, have attracted a lot of attention. To become more active and to grow up and shoulder the future destiny of communities, NGOs need to cooperate with each other. Information technology (IT) is regarded as being an effective method of achieve NGO cooperation because messages can be sent immediately to many people far away at any time. So the solution to the problems of NGOs can be solved by information exchange among NGOs, and NGOs can cooperate with each other using their advantages. But currently NGOs hardly communicate with each other using IT. So we examined the conditions required for advancing communication using IT among NGOs. Based on the results, we formed a hypothesis and verified it. The evidence shows that NGOs are not resistant to communication using IT and are willing to learn IT-skills, if there is an opportunity. However, because they lack experience using IT, NGOs do not understand the benefits of communication using IT. Although some NGOs operate IT equipment and have websites for disseminating informations , this has not led to moving on to the stage of communication using IT. |
