Study on the Effect of Reputation System as Trust Evaluation in Network Community

Abstract(in English) It is shown that the reputation system for trust creation is important when encouraging the community activity on a network. The experiment result incorporating the reputation system is shown about the network auction in which trust creation becomes important among many kinds of network community. First, the requirements for creation and operation of a network community are mentioned, and the function which is needed for it and which a community should have is summarized. Then, comparison between the case with a reputation system and the case without one, where the reputation system is used as a means of reputation creation at a network auction, is performed in the experiment, and it is shown that a reputation system has an effect in activation of a market.
