Abstract(in English) This paper introduces results of safety analysis which we performed in a development of a new train control system "COMBAT". We performed safety analysis based on FMEA and FTA, and confirmed that the system has effective functions or procedures against hazards. Furthermore, we calculated an occurrence rate of the fatal events and MTBF of equipment and hole of the system. As a result, we confirmed that all values are reasonable.
