| 抄録(和) | 広域に存在する計算機資源を集めて仮想的に1つのシステムを構築するグリッドコンピューティングが現実的となり, 多くの研究が行われている. なかでも遊休中の一般のPCを用いるPCグリッドでは, 数万のPC所有者が参加する実験も行われている. しかし一般ユーザがPCグリッド環境を行うためには, サーバの準備やソフトの開発, メンバの確保が必要である. 特に, 一定数のメンバを確保することは, 個人でPCグリッドを行う場合には困難である. そこで我々は, 処理プログラムをシステム内に内蔵しユーザ間で計算機資源を融通しあうことが可能なPC Pool System を開発した. 本稿では, PC Pool System の機能および高信頼化手法について説明しWindowsPCに実装して性能の評価を行っている. |
| 抄録(英) | Grid Computing constructs single computing system by collecting widely distributed computing resources. Grid computing system, especially PC Grid System, using PC's computing resources, is applied to some practical systems. lt is difficult for common users to construct such a system because it is very difficult to make processing programs and to collect many PCs from the network. From this point, the authors proposes a distributed computing system called PC Pool System, where processing programs are included and processing resources of PCs are shared by each other. This paper describes the functions and the technique for dependability of the PC Pool System. This system is implemented on the Windows-based PCs and its performance is evaluated. |
