Abstract(in English) The GPS positioning for safety critical systems such as train control must exclude position information which contains unpermissible errors at very high probability. This paper proposes a dependable technique of GPS positioning on trains such as mutual complement and comparison between the positioning method and inertial navigation using a three-dimensional track map which is suitable for railroads, regular connection to reference stations along railroad lines, checking based on redundant satellites or positional relation of antennas, comparison of different receiver model outputs, etc. and shows its applicability to train control systems.
