Abstract(in English) This paper describes safety enhancement approach for railway signalling. Firstly, hardware and software safety techniques and measures for computerised signalling systems are described, followed by Japanese safety guidelines and international safety standards both of which compile the necessary conditions for safety management and technical activities throughout lifecycles together with the necessary technical conditions. Moreover, some examples of safety analysis are shown, and questions to be solved are discussed.
