Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dynamic circuits are widely used in many high performance asynchronous circuits designs because of their switching speed. Recently to deal with the drawback of asynchronous design, i.e., handshaking overhead, new asynchronous pipelining controller named GasP are suggested for datapaths. The latency of datapaths of dynamic circuits controlled by GasP is superior to static one(165ps VS 26lps), while the throughput is inferior to static one(1.6GHz VS 2.2GHz), because of precharging phase. In this paper, we suggest a new dynamic circuits design which can mask the precharging phase, and applied for GasP pipelining to realize low latency and high throughput.
