| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, for the sake of developing the CAD system for lung cancer, we proposed the method that can extract thoracic cage automatically. It is very important to extract lung area for specifying region that nodule to detect is in. But extraction of that based on threshold is not robust. So, in this paper, we developed the method that can detect the thoracic cage automatically. Thoracic cage information is very effective for recognition of lung's shape. |
