Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Braille-score plays important roles for visual handicapped persons to study and transmit music information. A score description language, MusicXML, based on XML is proposed to exchange musicscore information via network, and digital score information can be obtained through an Internet using the score viewer. This paper describes an algorithm for analyzing Music-score represented by MusicXML to generate Braille-scores. In this paper, we firstly discuss the syntactic rule to analyze MusicXML and Braille-scores, and the configuration of our prototype system which enables us to translate Music-score into Braille-score. Then we also describe experimental results to verify the effectiveness of our approach.
