| 抄録(和) | 高齢者における単語の想起困難のメカニズムを明らかにする研究の一環として,若年健常者,高齢健常者を対象に, 語頭音,生物,人工物,固有名詞にわたる合計48のカテゴリーについて語想起実験を行った。高齢者は総じて生成語数が少なく,特に人名の生成が困難であった。一方, 若年者も人名の生成は相対的に困難であり,両群のカテゴリー難易度パタンは一致した。生成語数の時間的推移を見ると,若年者,高齢者とも開始後5秒以内にピークが来た。しかし,高齢者のピークは若年者より遅れ,生成語数も若年者の約6割にとどまった。生成語の親密度や心像性内容一致度などの分析結果も加え,高齢者の語想起能力の特徴について考察する。 |
| 抄録(英) | A set of 44 semantic and 4 phonological word-fluency tasks were administered to 50 young and 50 healthy older adults. The participant was required to orally produce words in a semantic category, or words beginning with a letter (representing Japanese mora) displayed on a computer screen. She/he was encouraged to utter as many words as possible in 30 seconds. The result showed that the performance pattern across the 48 categories in the young adults was very similar to that in the older adults, and retrieval of famous person's names was most difficult even in the young adults. While in almost all tasks age-related decline was observed, it was most prominent in the proper-name tasks. Time-course analysis of word retrieval revealed that more than half of the retrieved words were produced during the first 5 seconds in the both groups, suggesting that slowing of response in the old is not responsible for the deficient word fluency. |
