| 抄録(和) | 我々は盲ろう者の指点字でのコミュニケーションを助けるための機器を開発した.盲ろう者と健常者がコミュニケーションを行う場合,盲ろう者は指に指輪型の指デバイスを着け,健常者は音声で会話する.指デバイスは,指への振動で会話を受けることもでき,かつ机などの上で打指すると相手に会話で伝えることもできる.指デバイスから発せられる指点字コードは音声合成チップにより音声に変換され,逆に会話は音声認識ソフトにより指点字コードに変換される.本稿では,このシステムの概要と指デバイスを使ったコミュニケーションの方法について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | We developed a prototype model as an aid for finger Braille communication by people with visual and auditory handicaps. When the handicapped person communicates with a healthy person, the former wears a ring-like device on his/her finger while the latter simply speaks in his/her natural voice. The device can be used both as a receiver accepting messages by vibration and as a transceiver sending messages by tapping on the desk. The finger Braille code sent from the device is converted to voice using a voice synthesis chip, while, on the contrary, the voice is converted to finger Braille code using speech recognition software. This paper provides an outline of the system and a description of the methods used for information transfer and communication using the ring-like device. |
