Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been doing research for the development of electronic raised-line drawing systems that enable blind persons to freely draw and modify tactile graphics. The former part of this report deals with the history of these developments ever done. Then the middle and latter parts explain the evaluation of the new system at a school for the blind. The purpose of the evaluation is to derive practical suggestions on what tasks the new system is effectively used in and what kinds of improvements are required for practical use. The configuration and functions of the new system and remarks of teachers and students are described in detail.
