Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a voice quality improvement in esophageal speech by converting speech parameters is investigated. Listening experiments of the re-synthesized speech by the ARX analysis-synthesis method and the mel-cepstral analysis-synthesis method show that smoothing of F_0 is effective. However, since this improvement method is not able to be directly applied for speech whose F_0 extraction is difficult, an alternative improvement method is also examined.
