| 抄録(和) | 声の質を表す語として、「高い」、「若い」、「落ち着きのある」など、さまざまな表現語が日常的に用いられている。過去の著者らの研究において、音声研究者ではない一般の人々が用いる表現語を対象に、通常発話の声質に関連した日常表現語を抽出した。これらの声質表現語と音響関連量との関係を調べるため、今回、予備的検討の成果を踏まえて、声の大きさレベル(SPL)の再現を考慮した音声84例の聴取実験を行った。その結果、「かすれた声」では、基本周波数よりもスペクトル傾斜が大きな要因を持ち、喉頭雑音が加わるなど、一般性のある対応関係が得られた。また、SPLが、聴取印象に大きな影響を及ぼすことが示され、軽視されがちであった音声収録時のSPLの扱いが、注意すべき重要な事項であることが明らかになった。 |
| 抄録(英) | In every day life, various expressions associated with voice quality are frequently used, such as "high-pitched," "youthful," and "calm." We have already reported nine voice quality expressions in Japanese which were extracted out of more than 200 expressions as statistically significant. In this paper, we report significant acoustic correlates of each of the voice quality expressions which were measured through perceptual experiments for speech samples uttered by 84 talkers, especially focusing on the sound pressure level (SPL) of the utterance. For "hoarse" quality, for instance, spectral tilt and amount of aperiodic components in the long vowel segment [aa] of the utterance resulted in significant acoustic correlates, which is considered to be quite reasonable. The SPL has proved to be a significant acoustic parameter in many expressions. This fact suggests that the SPL plays an important role in the auditory perception of the speech utterance and thus should be adequately controlled in the recording and perceptual experiment. |
